The official exchange rates for the Australian Dollar (AUD) are published by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), the Central Bank of Australia, which sets the country’s monetary policy and issues and manages the Australian money supply.
This daily report contains 19 currency values and is updated around 16:00 Australia Eastern Time AEST (UTC+10) on every working day, except on public and bank holidays observed in New South Wales.
foxer currency calculator includes the RBA plugin since version 8.9.
The RBA also publishes a historical file starting from 2018.01.02 until present. This file is fully available from the calendar tool and can be used to extract missing files month by month.
Australia is among the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources, including metals, coal, diamonds, meat and wool. Australia is the 13th largest economy in the world and also a regional power. It is a member of the Commonwealth, and so is a country with strong economic links with the UK and the USA as well as many other Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with most of its more important neighbouring countries such as China, Japan and New Zealand.
The Australian dollar (AUD), the 5th most traded currency in the world, is the currency for the nation, including Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, and Norfolk Island, as well as the independent Pacific Island states of Kiribati, Nauru, and Tuvalu.
2021.02.17 – RBA has disabled the deprecated Transport Layer Security ( TLS ) versions 1.0 and 1.1. While this is no problem for modern Windows platforms, we found that it prevents Win32 apps from connecting and downloading any data when running in Windows 7 and other Windows Server versions.
2021.02.25 – RBA has restored access to the publication files.
