Australia is among the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources, including metals, coal, diamonds, meat and wool. Australia is the 13th largest economy in the world and also a regional power. It is a member of the Commonwealth, and so is a country with strong economic links with the UK and the USA as well as many other Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with most of its more important neighbouring countries such as China, Japan and New Zealand.
The Australian dollar (AUD), the 5th most traded currency in the world, is the currency for the nation, including Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, and Norfolk Island, as well as the independent Pacific Island states of Kiribati, Nauru, and Tuvalu.
2021.02.17 – RBA has disabled the deprecated Transport Layer Security ( TLS ) versions 1.0 and 1.1. While this is no problem for modern Windows platforms, we found that it prevents Win32 apps from connecting and downloading any data when running in Windows 7 and other Windows Server versions.
2021.02.25 – RBA has restored access to the publication files.
